Owen, October 6, 2017 - As a sensor specialist and expert in the area of safety at work and machine tool manufacturing, Leuze electronic will demonstrate its industry expertise to machine manufacturers as well as consumers at Blechexpo 2017 in Stuttgart. In hall 3, booth 3312, the optical sensor manufacturer will be presenting diverse, efficient sensor solutions to protect operator and machine. “Safety at work and high machine and system availability do not contradict each other,” says Jörg Beintner, who is the long-time Industry and Key Account Manager for machine tool manufacturing at Leuze electronic. “We therefore speak of efficient safety at work for both the operator and the machine.” Safety sensor solutions reliably secure danger zones in the industrial environment. These include the guarding of different stand-alone machines as well as the protection of extended danger zones of concatenated systems or dangerous movements of robots in motion and driverless transportation systems. Through its many years of experience in machine tool manufacturing and close proximity to its customers, Leuze electronic innovated numerous products that are precisely tailored to industry and customer-specific requirements: such as the RSL 400 safety laser scanner or the new MSI 400 compact control product range. From now on, additional, certified function blocks specifically designed for the use in eccentric and hydraulic presses, are available. They fulfill the normative requirements specific to presses in accordance with EN 692/EN 693 and are especially suited for use in small and medium presses. Another product innovation is the LCAM 408i industrial IP camera. It provides a view into the machine interior that is not visible and is characterized by high image quality and fast live image transfer. This and other industry solutions are presented by Leuze electronic at the international trade show for sheet metal processing, Blechexpo, in hall 3, booth 3312.
