To strengthen its innovation leadership in the Safety segment, Leuze electronic invested in a new location near Munich and moved into the new and modern premises in Germering on February 1, 2016. The company moved from its previous location in Fürstenfeldbruck.

On an international level, Leuze electronic is consolidating its position as innovation leader in optical sensors in South Asia by founding the subsidiary Leuze electronic Singapore PTE Ltd. In doing so, Leuze electronic is expanding its existing distribution partnerships in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, thereby intensifying its presence in the region. Leuze electronic Singapore PTE Ltd. focuses on products for industrial automation, intralogistics and packaging systems as well as on safety services and system solutions. The founding of this subsidiary company will allow Leuze electronic to offer services, products and solutions that are optimally adapted to the regional requirements of the Asian market.

This year, the subsidiary Leuze electronic Trading (Shenzhen) Co., Limited (China) will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. In recent years, Leuze electronic has invested several million euros in facilities and operating resources in Shenzen, the largest subsidiary of the Leuze group. According to the company, preparations for further growth in Asia were underway as far back as 2013. In China we can clearly see what applies for the entire company: targeted investments with the right strategic decisions lead to above average growth.
