Leuze electronic presents itself as a comprehensive solution provider for intralogistics

Owen, January 22, 2016, Leuze electronic will be presenting its latest product developments and complete solutions in intralogistics at LogiMAT, the international trade show for distribution, materials handing and information flow, in Hall 5, Stand 5F61 from March 8 - 10 in Stuttgart:

With the 10 series, Leuze electronic offers new measuring and switching distance sensors specially for collision protection and positioning of shuttles and high-bay storage devices. These demonstrate high tolerance to a wide range of materials, surfaces and detection angles. Even objects that are being rapidly transported or that are not optimally aligned can be detected or measured problem-free.

The LSC 200 all-in-one measurement system represents a complete system for intralogistics and packaging systems. In this system, sensors and evaluation unit are optimally matched to one another. The LSC 200 can be expanded with sensors for performing identification tasks, e.g., with bar code readers. Dimensions can also be measured with three light curtains using the optical throughbeam method.

In the area of safety as well, Leuze electronic has an answer at the ready to the growing demands for personnel protection and access guarding. One trade show highlight in the area of safety is “Smart Process controlled Gating,” a new process developed by Leuze electronic on the basis of its MLC safety light curtains which makes the muting process more economical, simpler and safer. This is a sensor-free muting process that not only reduces purchase costs, wiring work and risk of tampering by foregoing muting sensors, it also lowers the risk of misalignment or damage.

With the RSL 440, Leuze electronic expands its new series of safety laser scanners with a device model with very large functional bandwidth. The winner of the 2016 GIT Security Award offers 100 field pairs or 50 quad pairs and up to 10 independent sensor configurations. It is thus especially well suited for mobile applications.
