Leuze electronic to present itself at the HANNOVER MESSE 2016 trade fair

Leuze electronic will be showcasing its product innovations and complete solutions at the world’s leading industrial trade fair.

Owen, February 15, 2016 – Leuze electronic will be presenting its latest product developments and cross-sector complete solutions at the HANNOVER MESSE 2016 trade fair, the world’s leading industrial trade fair, from April 25 to 29 in Hannover, Germany (Building 9, Booth G76).

The company will be exhibiting a comprehensive range of inductive switches in various shapes and sizes, housings and thread sizes for material-independent object detection (reduction factor 1). These inductive switches are characterized by a large scanning range as well as a high level of switching point stability over the entire temperature range. Switching photoelectric sensors and diffuse sensors of the new SR 46C series have a function reserve which is 80% greater than the predecessor models. Their IP67/69K protection class makes this series ideal for hostile environmental conditions and conveyor systems.

The new ODS 10 measuring distance sensor with an operating range of 50 to 8,000 mm and an accuracy of +/- 30 mm detects objects and measures distances with a diffuse reflectance of 6 to 90% and a consistency of up to 4 mm. It convinces with its high degree of tolerance with respect to angle of incidence, color, surface structure and brightness of the reflective material, and delivers reliable measurement results even in the case of unfavorably aligned or fast moving objects. Large control buttons, a clearly visible status display on the front as well as the OLED display allow comfortable commissioning and diagnosis at the press of a button.

In the area of safety, Leuze electronic will be showcasing several new products: The MLC500 series safety light curtain now has a vibration-resistant model, particularly suitable for use on mechanical presses. Based on the MLC500 series, a sensorless muting function with “Smart Process controlled Gating” (SPG) has been developed to meet the growing requirements with regard to personnel protection and access guarding. The device model RSL 440 which has 100 field pairs and 50 quad pairs for up to 10 independent sensor configurations and is ideal for mobile applications has been added to the RSL 400 high-end safety laser scanner series. The L300 series safety locking devices based on RFID technology which support safety-related integration up to the highest safety level – performance level PL e in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 in accordance with EN 62061 – are also new.
